Colleagues and friends for over thirty years, Cho-Liang Lin and Jon Kimura Parker have performed together at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, the Seattle Chamber Music Festival, the Beijing Chamber Music Festival, and in recital series across North America and Taiwan. After their world premiere performance of the Violin Sonata by Paul Schoenfeld in Alice Tully Hall, the New York Times wrote that “Mr. Lin and Mr. Parker performed the often virtuosic piece with commitment, finishing with a bang!”

Cho-Liang Lin is lauded the world over for the eloquence of his playing and for the superb musicianship that marks his performances. He is Music Director of La Jolla Music Society’s SummerFest, as well as the Hong Kong International Chamber Music Festival. His extensive discography includes recordings for Sony Classical, Decca, Ondine, Naxos and BIS. He plays the 1715 “Titian” Stradivarius and is Professor of Violin at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University in Houston, Texas.

Pianist Jon Kimura Parker, an Officer of the Order of Canada, performs with major North American orchestras on a regular basis, including upcoming concertos with orchestras of New York, Chicago, and Philadelphia. He also appears in Off the Score, an experimental group with legendary Police drummer Stewart Copeland. He is Artistic Advisor of the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival and Professor of Piano at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University in Houston, Texas.
