The inaugural Oscar Peterson International Jazz Festival in 2018 brought "true jazz to Ontario... evoking jazz's golden afterglow of the 1960s and early 70s" (The Globe and Mail). Under the continued guidance of Artistic Director Renee Rosnes, the second edition of this festival promises another exciting weekend of true, swinging jazz in picturesque Niagara wine country.

Named one of CBC Music’s “30 hot Canadian classical musicians under 30,” the Cheng² Duo is celebrated by audiences and critics alike for its artistic excellence, generous spirit, and compelling vibrancy. The acclaimed brother and sister duo is formed by cellist Bryan Cheng and pianist Silvie Cheng. 


April 13, 2019 - Paul Marinaro & Ben Paterson Trio

To celebrate the centennial of Nat “King” Cole, four dynamic artists present a unique tribute in honour of Nat’s life and career. Led by vocalist Paul Marinaro, dubbed as having “one of the most beautiful vocal instruments in the business today” (Chicago Tribune), this show features the trio of acclaimed pianist Ben Paterson. 


May 11, 2019  - Alfredo Rodríguez & Pedrito Martinez

Grammy®-nominated Cuban jazz pianist Alfredo Rodríguez and percussionist Pedrito Martinez take listeners on a unique and exciting journey. A protege of Quincy Jones,  Alfredo was schooled in the rigorous classical conservatories of Havana. Pedrito’s musical training came directly from the streets of Old Havana. He has subsequently performed with artists such as Sting, Paul Simon, and Wynton Marsalis.  


May 12, 2019 - Jamie Parker & The NewGen

The New Gen project pairs two of Canada's rising classical musicians - Brian Mangrum (horn) and Boson Mo (violin) - with veteran artist James Parker in a concert of solo and chamber works. "James Parker is one of the most searching musical intellects and 10 of the nimblest fingers in the business” (The Globe and Mail).


May 25, 2019 - Piano Six: Next Generation Gala Concert

Featuring  a collective of six internationally-renowned Canadian concert pianists: Marika Bournaki, David Jalbert, Angela Park, Ian Parker, Anastasia Rizikov, and Daniel Wnukowski. 

Modeled after the original "Piano Six" group including Janina Fialkowska, Angela Cheng, Marc-André Hamelin, Angela Hewitt, André Laplante, and Jon Kimura Parker, "Piano Six: The Next Generation" will bring quality classical music to small and remote communities in Canada.
