Bravo Niagara creates extraordinary live performing arts experiences and fosters a vibrant community of artists and audiences that enriches the cultural fabric of Niagara.

A Community of Artists & Arts Lovers

Mother-daughter team Christine Mori (Artistic Director) and Alexis Spieldenner (Executive Director) founded Bravo Niagara in 2014 with the vision of presenting today’s leading artists from across Canada and around the world. Today, Bravo Niagara has evolved into a vibrant community of artists and lovers of the arts.

A dream Brought to Life

Bravo Niagara is Mori’s dream brought to life. Upon returning to Canada from the US to begin a new chapter - a chapter that would deeply and personally reconnect her with her Canadian roots - Mori’s dream of a festival where some of the greatest and most respected artists in the world would perform, came true.

The Stars of Today and Tomorrow

Since 2014, Niagara audiences have been treated to extraordinary classical and jazz performances featuring today’s leading artists: James Ehnes, Jan Lisiecki, MILOŠ, Kyohei Sorita, Hayato Sumino, Samara Joy, The Count Basie Orchestra, and Marcus Miller, to name only a few! In addition to its musical performances, Bravo Niagara offers educational outreach and multidisciplinary programming, including dance, literary talks, and film screenings.

Amplifying Diverse Voices

Bravo Niagara’s Voices of Freedom amplifies underrepresented voices and histories through the arts. Our largest scale production and commission is Kimiko’s Pearl, an original multidisciplinary ballet based on the Japanese Canadian internment of WWII, inspired by the family history of founders Christine Mori and Alexis Spieldenner.
